Event Details
Join us for a ukulele jam session with others who love to sing and play music. Please bring your tuned-up uke, extra copies of any music you wish to share, and a fervent desire to have fun with other ukulele players. If desired, please bring your own music stand. Hawaiian shirts optional!
All levels of skill are welcome, but knowledge of basic chords is necessary. No formal instruction will be provided, but our regular ukulele players love to help out beginners! You are also welcome to bring an accompanying instrument, such as harmonicas, bells, tambourines, kazoos, or your own voice.
For those interested in getting started and learning more about ukulele music, YouTube has many great lessons and demonstrations. You can find one channel that our players recommend HERE. The Bronxville Library also has three ukuleles to lend out if you would like to borrow one to practice with.
Can't make it this time? This group will meet on the first Monday of the month.
