Summer Reading at the Library!

Join us for our annual summer reading program for children, teens and adults.  This year's theme is Color Your World.

Children & Teens:  Starting on June 2nd, visit the Children's Room to register and receive a reading log.

Adults:  Starting on June 2nd, sign up in person at the Reference Desk to receive a packet.  Click here for the Nonfiction and Fiction reading lists relating to the theme.

Program Description

Event Details

Choose from two age-specific sessions which will focus on the same key social-pragmatic skills, such as turn-taking, asking and answering questions, sharing, and conversation skills. Call 914-337-7680 ext. 834 / Spots limited.

  • 10:00 - 11:00 AM
  • Little Ones (Ages 2-3): Focus on early social skills
  • with hands-on activities & craft.

 

  • 11:30 - 12:30
  • Bigger Ones (Ages 4-5): Build more advanced skills
  • through pretend play, sharing ideas, and role playing
