Professional actress Michèle LaRue brings to life a trio of vintage holiday stories about love, joy, and giving:  The Gift of the Magi, O. Henry's well-loved favorite (1906); The Christmas Sing in Our Village, by Mary E. Wilkins Freeman (1898); Their Dear Little Ghost, by Elia W. Peattie (1898)...plus a surprise from Louisa May Alcott.

Michèle LaRue delights in literature of America's Gilded Age, which she began performing in Cape May, New Jersey's parlors and porches, for the historically minded East Lynne Company.  For 25 years she has toured nationally with her rich collection of Tales Well Told.  A Chicago native, Michèle returned to her ancestors' East Coast, straight from University of Kansas, where she earned her bachelor's degree in acting.  She is a member of both actors' unions:  Actors' Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA.  As a writer and editor, she has collaborated on many notable theatre books and periodicals.
