Dr. Theodore (Ted) Swartz, the founder of the Bronx Charter School for Better Learning (BBL),
one of NY state's highest achieving independent, public charter schools, with
average ELA and math scores that exceeded those of all comparison groups, including all of NYC schools, charter schools and those of NYS public schools, including those in the wealthiest school districts. Dr. Swartz earned his Ph.D. in Educational Psychology, Special Education, from New York University.
Among his many accomplishments, Dr. Swartz is the co-creator and designer of three unique learning apps: iSpellBetter, iReadBetter and iCountBetter, currently available for free on Apple's app store.
