Students would dance on the show which all their teachers watched. This program set in Philadelphia between 1957-1963 features original live Bandstand performances of Rock Around the Clock with Bill Haley and the Comets, Mack the Knife by Bobby Darin, Tears on My Pillow by Little Anthony, Charlie Brown by the Coasters, Great Balls of Fire by Jerry Lee Lewis, Rock ‘n Roll is Here to Stay by Danny and the Juniors and more.
