Beatrix Farrand, born of a well to do New York family, rose to the pinnacle of the male-dominated field of Landscape Architecture . Another strength she discovered was how to problem-solve with site challenges, but also had a strong eye for art & beauty cultivated by her Mom & Charles Sprague Sargeant. She added her ecological wisdom to more than 200 hundred projects, combining the best of Italian Renaissance, English design, along with architectural & natural environments.
Presented by: Jennifer Yates is an experienced and award-winning landscape designer with a gift for color and structure to create harmonious landscape designs.
